Child Safe Recruitment Webinar

Who it’s for

This session on child safe recruitment and the Working with Children Check is for employers to help with selecting and supporting the most suitable staff to work with children.

What we’ll cover

As part of the Child Safe Scheme, child-related organisations in NSW should apply the Child Safe Standards. Having a child-focused recruitment policy with procedures will help to ensure that adults working with children align with the organisation’s intention to be child safe.

You'll learn about:

  • child safe recruitment and screening
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC) and staff records
  • child safe staff inductions
  • ongoing supervision of all staff.

To complement the session, download our Child Safe Recruitment and the Working with Children Check Handbook. (PDF, 15.11MB)
