Organisations providing specialised substitute residential care (SSRC) play an important role in supporting the safety and wellbeing of children and young people receiving overnight care.
If your organisation provides overnight respite care, behaviour support or other arrangements that meet the definition of SSRC, you must comply with the SSRC Code of Practice and relevant requirements under the Child Safe Scheme.
Here you’ll find information about becoming a provider, operating a service, recording placements on the SSRC Register, and understanding your regulatory responsibilities.
