In this session, you will hear about the Working with Children Check (WWCC) and the importance of having a robust recruitment process. You will also be provided with the opportunity to have your questions answered by the panel members.

Our panel include:

Luke Blake Working with Children Check who will discuss the WWCC application and risk assessment process, discussing what matters may trigger a risk assessment on a workers check, and how outcomes are determined.

Genevieve TunerOCG WWCC Compliance Team who will talk about the compliance teams work, including how the team conduct their audits and what they ask from employers during an audit, and will discuss the penalties that can be issued as a result of their findings.

OCG Child Safe Team who will discuss why having a strong recruitment process is a critical step in child safe recruitment and why there should not be an over reliance on the WWCC to determine if a worker is suitable to work with children.

Bring all of your questions to this Q&A discussion and have them answered by the panel to ensure you leave the webinar with all the knowledge needed to ensure you are employing the best people to work with children in your organisation.
