New eLearning for child safe organisations now available

The Office of the Children’s Guardian has launched a new eLearning for people who work with children - Foundational Module: How to be Child Safe.

Foundational child safe eLearning available now

This module is the first step in the revised eLearning program, launching late 2026, and is designed for anyone who works with or around children including paid staff, volunteers, leaders, and board members.

This module can be completed by people who have already done our existing child safe eLearning, as it aligns updated legislation for the NSW Child Safe Scheme and the Child Safe Standards and complements the current suite of eLearning courses. It's also a great opportunity to refresh your understanding of child safe best practice.

The self-paced module is practical, accessible and supports a shared understanding of child safe responsibilities. This module can be completed in less than an hour and showcases a contemporary user experience.
