Developing a child safe code of conduct - face to face

Who it's for

Anyone in a child-related role responsible for developing child safe documents.

What it'll cover

As part of the Child Safe Scheme, all child-related organisations in NSW should apply the Child Safe Standards. A Child Safe Code of Conduct can be a fundamental component that sets out clear expectations around adult interactions with children and young people in your organisation, to encourage a culture where adults and children can identify and raise concerns.

Our child safe trainers guide participants through the essential components of a robust Child Safe Code of Conduct and explain what should happen after it's been developed to make sure it remains effective.

To complement the session, download our Understanding and Developing a Child Safe Code of Conduct (PDF, 2.38MB) handbook.
