Developing policies and procedures for organisations can feel overwhelming. However, policies and procedures provide guidance, structure and consistency for keeping children safe and strengthening organisational practice.

In this workshop, we aim to demystify the policy and procedure process. You will have the opportunity to participate in open discussions on what you feel should be included in your child safe policies, sharing ideas across organisations and sectors, helping you strengthen your policies.

Standards connected to the workshop: Standard 1, Standard 5, Standard 6, Standard 9, Standard 10.

Who this session is for: This session is for leaders in organisations who are responsible for developing and updating policies. For paid staff or volunteers.

What to bring (optional): Examples of policies related to child safe; Child Safe Policy; your example of a Statement of Commitment to Child Safety or Child Safe Code of Conduct.

This workshop is supported by Shellharbour City Council
