Empowerment and Participation - 1:30pm to 3:30pm at Broken Hill

Past event

This event has finished. Visit our Contact Us page if you have questions.

This workshop will help adults empower and involve children and young people in their organisation, in line with the Child Safe Standards. It provides advice, tools and tips on how to make this work.

When empowerment and participation is done well, everyone benefits. Leaders, paid workers and volunteers can learn a lot from children who feel safe to share their thoughts.

You will learn practical skills to help your organisation empower children and young people to participate and share their views about what makes them feel safe or unsafe in your organisation.
