After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

On 1 October 2025, the OCG will introduce new and revised reportable conduct Fact Sheets to:

  • reflect legislative amendments to the Children’s Guardian Act 2019 (the Act) that are effective from 1 October 2025,
  • implement recommendations from the review of the Act, including to provide more detailed guidance on reportable conduct categories and case examples, and
  • respond to stakeholder feedback seeking enhanced guidance on identifying reportable allegations.

The amendments that come into effect on 1 October do not impose any new requirements on relevant entities. However the enhanced practice guidance may give cause for some relevant entities to reflect on and amend their practice.

This informal Q&A webinar with Natasha Mewing, Director Reportable Conduct Investigations, is designed to give practitioners an opportunity to raise any questions they have about the updated guidance.

Priority will be given to questions posed in advance, for time-management purposes.
