Run by the NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian, the roadshow is a series of in-person workshops on how organisations must meet their obligations under the NSW Child Safe Scheme.

Held 4–5 June, the roadshow includes sessions suited to anyone who works in a child-related organisation, while there are additional sessions for the early childhood sector.

Rachael Ward, Acting Children’s Guardian, said the workshops offer skill-building sessions for organisations already implementing the Child Safe Standards, while the Applying the Child Safe Standards session will suit those just getting started.

‘You can also book an individual discussion session with one of our engagement officers to discuss how the Child Safe Standards can best be implemented within your organisation,’ Ms Ward said.

The workshops and discussions are free, but registration is essential.
