As announced in a previous news item, the fee will rise from $80 to $105 for both checks.

The fee for the Working with Children Check has been held at $80 since it was introduced in 2013. The NDIS Worker Check was introduced in 2021, also with a fee of $80.

Both checks remain free for volunteers.

Each of the checks last for five years and are portable from job to job.
