The 2024 Working with Children Week theme was:

"Families and communities are informed and involved."

During the week multiple child-related organisations shared their child safe practices under the hashtag #WWCW2024, thanking and congratulating all the workers that keep children safe in NSW.

The Working with Children Week - Check the Check webinar on 18 June had more than 270 registrations. The webinar explored how organisations can meet their Working with Children Check obligations as part of a broader child safe approach. A recording of the session is now available on our Past event recordings page.

Organisations are encouraged to continue to review their child safe practices throughout the year and support the workers who keep children safe.
