Some decisions made under the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012 can be reviewed. This is called an internal review.
Changes to the law in September 2025 mean you can no longer ask for a review of a Working with Children Check (WWCC) decision at NCAT. Instead, the Office of the Children’s Guardian Internal Review team can review or reassess certain WWCC decisions.
