You must keep your personal details up to date so that you can be contacted about your Working with Children Check (WWCC). This includes your name, address, phone or email address.
Submissions open for review of Children’s Guardian accreditation and monitoring functions
We are reviewing the Children’s Guardian’s accreditation and monitoring functions relating to statutory out-of-home care and adoption service providers.
10 out of 10 – NSW Parliament passes Standards scheme to keep children safe
NSW Children’s Guardian Janet Schorer has welcomed the passing in NSW Parliament of legislation that will embed the 10 Child Safe Standards recommended by the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse in the Children’s Guardian Act 2019 to guide child safe practice in NSW.
Legislative framework
The Office of the Children's Guardian operates under a framework of legislation.

You will need:
- A MyServiceNSW account with the WWCC service added
- 3 current identity documents including a NSW driver licence or photo card
- a device with a working front camera for face verification.
If you're renewing a paid WWCC, you will also need a credit card, debit card, PayPal or PayID account.
If you have an expired WWCC clearance or have changed your name on your identity documents since the last time you renewed your WWCC, you can't renew using digital proof of identity.
